Jayson Veley entered the world of conservative politics in 2008, during his freshman year of high school. He co-hosted a local access television program, called “The Junior Factor” (named after Fox New’s “The O’Reilly Factor), with his classmate Connor. Once he graduated and began college in 2012, Veley shifted from television to radio. Since then, The Jayson Veley Program (though originally called “Factor Talk Radio) has aired every Monday and Thursday night from 7-8 pm ET.
Veley has been nationally recognized several times throughout his broadcasting career. In 2010, he appeared on The Glenn Beck Program with Connor to promote The Junior Factor. In 2013, he was featured as the Leadership Institute’s “Graduate of the Week.” In 2014, he exposed a professor on The Jim Vicevich Show for showing an anti-George Bush video in the middle of class. Just one month later, Veley recorded and exposed another one of his professors going on a vicious anti-republican tirade during class, which led to subsequent appearances on The Kelly File, Your World with Neil Cavuto, and Conservative on Fire with Dan Lavallo. That same year, he was featured on Red Alert Politic’s “30 under 30” list.
Jayson is no stranger to speaking at conservative events, either. In the Fall of 2014, he was invited to speak at a series of fundraisers in Connecticut. A year later, in August of 2015, Veley flew out to Chicago to speak at Turning Point USA’s “High School Leadership Summit.”
Veley published an autobiography called “The Other Side” in 2012, and another book, “Telephone: Conservative Arguments with Liberal Callers” in 2014.
